Front end and back end of what? Web? There is much more software than web.Find “full stack” CAD (any branch of engineering) developer.
Average VLSI front end engineer use SystemVerilog and UVM.
And by the way, you need to know hell of math to write fast and accurate libm. Yes, you can do that with Taylor series, would you bet on performance and accuracy of such implementation? Probably not.
